Thinking: Catholicism

June 11, 2007

I went to my first Catholic wedding ceremony this weekend, and it occurred to me:

Do Catholics have more knee replacement surgeries than other religions? Because they're up and down in those pews A LOT.

I know what you are talking about. I went to Chatolic School, when I was a child and teenage.

I ever almost fainted in the middle of the ceremony, because I got up-down so many times, and I had't had my breakfast yet.

Disclaimer: No offense intended.

Hehehehehehe.

oh--you got a healthy dose of pew-aerobics! congrats!

Those are the absolute longest weddings in the world.

Lol. Episcopalians use the kneelers a lot too. Most of the time I can't wait for the Eucharistic prayer to be over. It's terrible but true.

Aah, welcome to my "catholic world". Try being the one having the catholic wedding! My husband who is not Catholic and who the priest lovingly referred to as "the pagan" was not feeling the good vibes during our ceremony.

7

Yeah, Catholics do like to move a lot during their services. lol

You bring up an interesting point, though. I'd like to see statistics on that! :)

I was raised Catholic and I have a bad knee. Seriously. So there you go.
