6: hours I've spent shopping so far today (and it's only 4 pm!)
9: hideous designs of cheese spreaders I've encountered
11: books I've purchased
1: temper-tantrum thrown because my spatula? is too flexible.
7: stores I've visited today
80: dollars TJ Maxx expected us to pay for a broken suitcase
3: people marked off my Christmas list
1: movie I'm about to watch (A Good Year)
[Edited to add:
1: movie I slept through, after taking a "15 minute nap" and waking up an hour and a half later]

By "spatula," do you mean "that thing I use to flip over pancakes?"
'Cuz that's a "turner."
I only bring it up because I can't imagine how a spatula could be too flexible, and it's a really common mistake. One that I did hear Alton Brown make once, though.

Six hours of shopping? Sounds like an AWESOME day! I believe I had 8 hours of watching football today. Beat that!

Wow, 11 books! What did you get? I tried to get my husband to go to the bookstore with me today, and he refused. Hmph.
