1984

I can't help but feel that Big Brother is watching. And it's kind of creepy. I keep looking over my shoulder, but: no one.
On a higher note in this otherwise bleak environment of Internet blocking, however, I can access Movable Type, which means I can still blawwwggg until my heart's content.
Most of my favorite sites are blocked due to "mature content" though, which kinda makes me feel like a dirty old man. Who's being monitored by Big Brother. And again: creepy.

I hope my site isn't considered mature content. I'm the most immature person that I know!

OH, and trust me, the IT team of your office is doing exactly that...watching. At my last job in HR, I was privy to the IT "secret room" of constant monitoring. Well, at least when the whole system wasn't on the fritz which was just about every other day.

in looking at your graphic I'm assuming that Big Brother always has unruly eyebrows that could use some grooming, but then again that makes him all the more menacing

Eeek... Creepy indeed. Is my site too mature for you??? I could throw in a purple dinosaur or two if that would help lower the bar.

Are there really IT rooms of people just watching what we're doing online? 'Cause I'm not cool with that.

Oh, I bet I am totally blocked. I used too many potty words for shock value. Oh well.

That is an awesome picture!
My blog is totally G-rated, so I expect to see you often! :) Seriously, that's miserable. The whole blocking thing, I mean. I hope you can still check your personal email.
I just try not to think about how many people could possibly be watching my every keystroke from remote locations. And even if they're watching, why would they care?

I've seen how that works at my company and it's scary.

Oh. my. God.
You use movable type? I use movable type!
I felt so alone.
Also, I hear you on the big brother thing. They even ban photobucket at my work so the blogs I can get to I can't see their photos. It's 1984 all over again. Except that I'm not begging my mom for the Thriller album.

I feel your pain. And now Flickr is on the do-not-visit list. Boo, hiss. Whatever shall we do?

Yeay you can visit me.
Boo you can't see any photos.
Yeay you can still blog.
Boo for Big Brother and his freaky eyebrows.
Have fun in Seattle! Actually never been (other than the airport) so I got nothin' for ya.
