Shhh. It's very quiet around here.

September 06, 2006

Also, audience participation - most creative response (judged by moi) (and my panel of dancing monkeys) wins a prize from the storage closet o' goodness: Who do you say are the Ch'agua?

Comments

1

The OTHERS, from Lost.

2

employees at Charo's water factory?

3

Che Rivera's supporters who live on houseboats. Obviously.

4

"Shhh, The Ch'agua are listening," said Rosie the riveter, but everyone knew water doesn't talk and Rosie had been drinking.

~Jef

5

Chuck Norris's secret army trained in the art of Walker Texas Ranger martial arts which specializes in round house kicks in cowboy boots and spurs

6

Powerfull Angry Chiwawa's that are out to get us.

Ch'agua is short for : Chiwawa Angry. (In foreign languages, the adjective always comes after the subject.)

7

Composers of Latin American porno music.

As in: [Bow] Ch[icka]'aguuuuuuaaaaaaa.

They are always listening.

(Note their trademark, the yin-yang with the lightning bolt.)

8

Its a bunch of Chihuahuas together. They are not barking, that is why its so quiet. They are listening for any sound to make them start barking again. Yap, yap, yap.

9

Hm. Guess I don't know how to spell Chihuahua.

10

Scientologists?

Mr. T's secret collection of covert-ops jewelry?

11

Well I cheated and Googled it, and "Ch.Agua" is an Australian Shepherd who has won a Westminster Kennel Club dog show award.

So we need to be quiet because dogs are listening. Alllllrighty then.

12

The Ch'agua live in my basement where I employ them to create mountains of sequins which I then sell via the midwest pageant black market. At night they eat pimentos and lots of gin. Years ago I put a lock on the basement door.

13

It's been a soul-sucking week for me, creatively speaking, so I've got nothin'. But I really enjoyed reading everyone else's comments. When are you going to decide the winner, Jes?

14

Why, they are your panel of dancing monkeys, of course. They are eagerly waiting the response of their "Most Supreme One", O Great Chirky, to see who you would pick for the finalist. They were getting a little out of hand, so you shushed them in their native tongue.

Let me just add that that is NOT a flattering picture of you. You really should have photoshopped it.

15

AMSTAFF!!! LOLOLOLOLOLOLLL!!!! That was so funny about the photoshopping picture! HHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAAHAHHA!

The Ch'Agua, pronounced CHAW-GOO-WAY are a supernatural entity that captured the souls of children in the late 1860's. These are thought to have originated in the Bermuda Triangle and that is where they keep the souls of the children. Ch'Agua are also known to be shape shifters. Their most common form is to be a black unicorn with a sparkly horn. This horn when displayed at night sparkles like a disco ball and atracts the children that are then persuaded to climb on the back of the Ch'Agua never to be seen or heard from again.

Other historical accounts claim that the Ch'Agua could also turn into large snakes and that sometimes they would transform while on a plane. In 2006 a movie was released about them Ch'Agua and instead of calling the movie Ch'Agua on a Plane they decided to call it Snakes on a Plane.

I apologize if I ruined the surprise ending and plot of this new movie, but I am just recounting history for Chirky's and the rest of the internet's educational benefit.

17

Ch'Agua is the secret spelling that the Chihuahuas use for communicating to each other so we don't catch on to their evil barking plan.

18

After much searching I believe that ch'agua means outsiders.

19

librarians. yes, that's it. they are librarians.

20

Ch'Agua are the people who created Jaguars (the car, not the animal). And it is pronounced CH-AG-OO-WUH.
