Confessions

August 31, 2006

I still cannot enter a dark bathroom, stand in front of the mirror, and say out loud three times:

"Beetlejuice"

or

"Candyman"

Comments

1

Me neither!

2

What about "Bloody Mary"?

3

I can't do the Bloody Mary one either.

4

Why would you want to? If it makes you feel better, I don't step on cracks on the sidewalk or any paved or stone surface.

~Jef

5

When are we going to have the DNA test to prove we are IDENTICAL TWINS?

I won't even LOOK in a mirror in a dark room because I'm afraid I might accidentally THINK those things and make something horrible happen.

How old am I again? 13? WHY IS THIS STILL AN ISSUE?!?

6

Oh, I don't know about the "Bloody Mary" one. But, PLEASE, don't tell me.

7

hahaha that was a funny post but im afraid im not afraid of the dark!

8

To this day I still can't walk to a trash can at night because I watched too much America's Most Wanted at night as kid and I am still afraid one might be hiding to kill or rape me!

9

hehehe

10

Oh God, I wouldn't say either of those!

I still pull the shower curtain back to make sure no one is hiding in there. In my own house. Every time.

11

Try this:

Crazy
Crazy
Crazy

Then howl with laughter.

;)

12

I can't either. But I never heard of those, I have heard of Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary! Ugh. Just thinking about it makes me scared.

Belief makes things real.

13

jes, i'll tell you about "bloody mary" next game night, in your guest bathroom, with the lights out

14

I don't watch scary movies so I have no idea what you're talking about.

I can't even watch the trailers or walk down the the horror section of Blockbuster. Yeeeesh.

15

I never saw Candyman, so I don't get that one. But I'm sure I'd still never try it.

But I am 120 percent sure that I am way too big of a wuss to do the Bloody Mary one. I can't believe you never heard that story!

16

Perhaps I've heard the Bloody Mary story and pushed it to the recesses of my mind.

However, I must admit something re: CANDYMAN.

I never saw the movie. Just the trailers. The trailers on TV that were SUPPOSED to be approved for all audiences. And they scared me THAT much. I am still traumatized.

17

Imagination is a powerful thing...

My two year old is currently deathly afraid of flies.

18

Me either! NO way. And "Bloody Mary" is also completely out of the question.

Three girls once did that at a junior high sleepover, and you better believe I ran the opposite direction (also, coincidentally, toward the newly popped popcorn). I wanted to LIVE.

;)

19

I loved Beetleguise!!

20

I was going to ask about Bloody Mary, I should have known someone would beat me to it.

21

I'm a bloody mary girl myself.
