Thinking: Lunch

July 17, 2006

Part of my lunch today included eating a small amount of cottage cheese. It started to taste weird when I realized that there's just something wrong with chewing my milk.

Cottage chesse is not a food

2

This coming from a woman that eats nearly exclusively from Sonic and Chic Fil A, and laments that the state of Oregon does not have a Taco Bueno?

3

I love cottage cheese, but hate milk. Interesting view.

4

exactly

5

Mmmmm...cottage cheese...

Like Jonna, I can jam on some cottage cheese, but I cannot drink milk. The thought of it makes me feel ill. Soy milk is doable, although I only put it on cereal. I only drink liquids that are transparent to translucent. No opacity allowed.

6

my mom loves peanut butter but hates peanuts...

7

Cotage Cheese is my personal Kryptonite

8

My mom used to make us eat cottage cheese... she would put pinneaple chunks in it to somehow intice us to eat it. I don't quite get that... I always found myself picking out the pinneaple chunks and leaving the cottage cheese.

9

Ben: my mom did the same thing, but with pears. What is it with moms and fruit in the cottage cheese?

10

I used to liberally sprinkle granulated sugar over cottage cheese and eat it for breakfast.

It doesn't taste so good like that anymore, but cottage cheese and cantelope is a delicious combination!

11

Ohhh, love the cottage cheese! It's especially good with some canned peaches. Yum. Like Lawyerish, I do not drink milk. Soy milk--on cereal--only!

12

I'm pretty sure it's been at least 5 years since I've had any (except, of course, when it's been in lasagna). It grosses me out.

13

Exactly, Jes! I never could watch my mom eat cottage cheese with peaches. *gag*

14

I can't stand milk, and the idea of cottage cheese makes me gag! Blech!

15

GROADY!!!

16

hehe my mom ALWAYS had cottage cheese on peaches when she was on a diet.

17

I love the new site! =)

18

Mmmmmm. I love those chunky curds. Sliding them around on my tongue. Swallowing them whole. Nothin' better.

19

Here here, Ree! :)

20

Oh yeah, follow the curds with oysters and you've got a real slip n' slide of a meal.

21

I enjoy cottage cheese plain. Only the small curd. Large Curd just sounds yucky!!
