“I just…I couldn’t grasp the hugeness of its enormity.”

Comments

1

It would be difficult to grasp the repetitiveness of their redundancy.

2

Funny how some people equate big words with intelligence...even if they have no idea what they're talking about.

Small words people. Small words. At least you'll make sense then.

3

Was there a Texas twang on any of the words?

4

Jayleigh: Ha! Your comment made me laugh out loud. Good thing I was at home!

Buffy: I used to equate big words with intelligence, until I realized I wasn't pronouncing them properly. Sad for me.

Ang: You have no idea. YES.

5

Ah, Texans. How smart and intelligent they are. Gifted, too.

6

so what was the object that had both hugeness and enormity?

7

THAT, Katie, is the key question.

Friends of ours who have been struggling with infertility for quite a while now, she being in the position that the dr. wasn't sure if she could ever have kids, and they have been taking fertility treatments, etc., just found out that SHE IS PREGNANT, and that she got pregnant while they were taking a break from treatment, which means that they got pregnant NATURALLY, which is such a big deal.

Thus, the hugeness and enormity of it all.

8

It's the hugeness of the enormity s/he was having trouble with. And I totally get that. Like who can understand infinity? We can't picture it; it's too huge.

And having a child is that kind of infinity. And certainly pregnancy leads to hugeness.

9

So, the hugeness of it's enormity observation was made during or after conception?!?! : )-

10

After. Eight weeks after. She had no idea she was pregnant (because of underlying, pre-existing complications with her body) until just last week!

11

Yeah, so I read that and all I could think of was...well...OBVIOUSLY!

12

Just linked over from Amalah and wanted to say "Nice blog!" I too, have stuck a boat, although it was a pontoon boat and I was giving tours of the lake...

13

Was that from Debbie Does Dallas?

Jes...didn't think you were into that kinda thing!

14

They were talking about me...
