Expressive Eyes

Dear Chase,
I love your eyes. I love how expressive they are. I love the perfect shade of blue with flecks of green and hazel. I love your tender, perfect skin that has not yet been marred with age. I love your eyelashes! Do you know that when you are older, girls will swoon over you, and wish that they had your lashes? I know this because I wish that they were mine.
You also have very furry eyebrows. But I think you will grow out of them. If not, I promise to take you to the nearest nail salon, where a Vietnamese lady will not only give you a manicure, but will also rip each precious hair out of its follicle. And then I'll give you an icecream cone to make up for the pain. It will be up to you whether you decide to eat it or smash it into your forehead like a coldpack.
I think I should apologize to you for exploiting your moments of sadness by hovering over you, camera in tow. But if I looked that cute when I cried, I would even take pictures of myself! As it stands, my forehead wrinkles until my eyebrows are close enough to be a unibrow and my mouth puckers in a way that can only be described as a deformed representation of Angelina Jolie's pouty lips. It's not a pretty sight, and perhaps that is why I don't like to cry. I just don't look as cute as you do.

He is way too cute!! My best friend and I were just discussing last night, when is it appropriate to start plucking your kids eyebrows? How soon is too soon? Her 9 year old has those bushy brows, too.

chase does have great eyes, they are the first thing I notice in all your pics of him and in person, what a cutie patootie he is and he does have a super aunt jes who is chronicling his entire childhood for him to enjoy later

His eyes are adorable!
Just a few words of advice, though -- plucked on guys is okay, as it's not so obvious. Waxed, though, can be very obvious, and that's bad: Instant turnoff. I prefer by far bushy eyebrows to the look of obviously waxed eyebrows on a guy. I've never even had my eyebrows waxed, and I'm a girlie girl!
Some things just aren't supposed to look so perfect. Men's eyebrows are definitely in that group.
