So very, very embarrassed.

March 02, 2006

Today, I am wearing a pale blue blouse with a black skirt. I just looked down and realized that I am wearing my BROWN shoes.

And to think: I got dressed in the dark this morning and was SO proud of myself for knowing where my black shoes were inside my closet. Except I never actually looked at my feet to confirm this to myself.

BROWN.

And now I have my feet tucked safely under my desk, trying to retrace in my mind where I've been and who I've seen and whether they have looked at my feet.

The horror!

OMW!! If I was in your position and I had access to a balcony, I might just hurl myself over the edge to avoid the shame!

And it is SUCH a good thing you don't work at my work, because I would TOTALLY point and laugh and be like, "Ummm... Jes... what's with the brown, black, blue combo? Do you need me to pick you up a copy of 'Dressing for Dummies'?"

I am vicious when it comes to fashion faux paus. VICIOUS!!!

Jes you made your self look like a muppet from Sesame Street.

Oh and...

NICE shoes.

3

yikes Jes...yikes.
Also- are those your real lips on the header of your site?

4

The only redeeming factor is that the shoes were actually a dark brown. Dark enough that if you closed your eyes, and were blind, you might not notice that they weren't black.

Also, B, they are not my lips. But aren't they tantalizing? Doesn't it make you want to kiss your screen?

Jes, I love your description of the color of your shoes, "dark brown enough that if you closed your eyes, and were BLIND, you might not notice they weren't black". CLASSIC JES.

Don't worry I won't judge you for your fashion, although every time I walk into your closet I want to start trying all your cute clothes on. And all with brown shoes so I will be a bit more like you (Because the world NEEDS more Jessicas)

Nice eyelashes! Your drawing cracked me up. The straight line for your lips. he-he.

And the combination of "closed your eyes and were blind" was priceless as well.

7

I especially like the eyelashes!
