Fact:
It. Just. Doesn't. Work.
February 22, 2006
This site is still under construction, AS IF YOU DIDN'T ALREADY KNOW THAT because I get emails every day telling me that my comments don't work or my categories don't work or my archives don't work, or my links don't work or my masthead doesn't work. And you know what? THANK YOU. Because I might never know if you didn't tell me.
Moreover, I feel indebted to those who have agreed to make my life full of little things that don't work helped me most. Alan installed Movable Type , hereinafter referred to as MT.
I rock the legal jargon.
You know how Mac owners are always saying how infinitely greater the Mac is than the PC? And how it has so many more capabilities? And how if all the earth fell apart and they could only take one item to heaven with them, it would be their Mac? That's how Movable Type is compared to my former (program? software? host?) Blogger. Or, that's how it is supposed to be.
I'm in the stage where I've switched from the PC to the Mac, or in my case, from Blogger to MT. You know, the stage where you keep thinking you can do everything like you did on your old system, so you keep clicking on things and getting nowhere and throwing your hands in the air and head-butting your cushioned cubicle walls and seriously considering committing yourself to a psychiatric ward where you will wear a straight jacket and never have to touch a keyboard again? Perhaps I really SHOULD make the switch between the Mac and the PC, JUST TO CONFUSE MYSELF ALL THE MORE.

So thanks, Alan, who can effortlessly install things and not get confused, because he looks at instrument panels all day and how could this be any MORE confusing than that?

And you know how there's always that one REALLY needy individual in your life? You know, the one who emails you SIXTY FIVE TIMES A DAY, asking you to do something for them because they can't figure it out on their own, even though they are connected to the Internet, the Internet that holds all knowledge and explanations and instructional videos that go too fast so you can't do exactly what the video is doing as it is doing it so you have to keep watching it over and over and over again, and you have to wait until it plays all the way through before hitting play again because it is not possible to pause it or rewind it and you'd THINK you'd have it memorized now, but you don't?
Yeah, well, I'm that person. For Kris. Kris hosts my site and has provided all the tools for me to function on the Internet by myself. Except, I can't, and because of that she has done so, so, so much for me. And by so, so, so much, I mean EVERYTHING. Without complaining, even. And she's funny!
So thanks, Kris, for putting up with me. And my incompetence. And this site. And Blogger's incompetence. And MT's incompetence to do what I want, even though MAYBE IT JUST WASN'T DESIGNED WITH AN 'IGNORANT' BUTTON. For me, not you.

ha ha ha. I missed out on Powdered Sugar night, but at least I can enjoy the pictures.
You lost me with Movable Type. That's why you and Eddo designed my blog and not me.

Um, that picture of me was not used with permission! I totally need to trademark or copyright that expression - which is so expressive.
Now why am I so FAT in that straight jacket?
We are so totally in a fight, it is like UFC in here BEEEOOOOTCH!!!

Eddo, I know! I started to shrink the tummy, but then I thought, "Gosh. Putting Eddo's head on here is enough work." And so I didn't. But, at least I thought about it! :)
And, somehow, I read "UFC" (What is that?) as "KFC." I think it was because you just made that fat comment.

UFC is Ultimate Fighting Championship - You should have Googled it!

Greetings MAC geek, welcome to the world of MT. You will love both MAC and MT :). The new version of MT proved to be a headache for me to install for a client though, but is done now. I hope you are doing well.

I have a few customers I could really use that ignorant button for - how much are you licensing it for?
And the picture of Eddie is hilarious!!
