While I was watching it, I TOTALLY wished I had a pirated copy

January 21, 2006

Tonight we went to see End of the Spear.

I guess I'll just have to settle for seeing it again in the theater, and buying a copy when it is sold as retail. Did you know that half of the profits go to help Indigenous Peoples? That alone is worth seeing it. We're helping people AND being entertained.

And it was so, so very good. If I could recommend ONE thing for you to do this weekend, or next week, or next weekend, or sometime this or next month, or even when it gets into the dollar theater, it would be to go see this movie. So beautifully done.

And now I want to move to Equador and live among the Waodanis, just like I wanted to move to Hawaii after I saw Blue Crush and how I wanted to apply to Harvard Law after I saw Legally Blonde. It's all relative.
