Lofty goals that may or may not be met. I prefer the former.

June 21, 2005

I'mtryingtoloseweightcommaagain. There. I said it. I know, I've said it before.
Except this time I mean it. The other times that I said I meant it, I really
meant that I wanted to lose weight without actually having to DO anything. I've
since discovered that's not possible.

Now, things are different:

I have an accountability partner at work, where I eat 2/3 of my meals and
snacks. She tries to play devil's advocate 80% of the time, but I'm thwarting
her efforts.
I am actually eating healthily, WITHOUT cheating. That's, like, unheard of.
I am exercising. This alone should be proof enough. I mean, for goodness
sakes, I'm exercising, people! AND it is sweltering outside! But, ha! I'm
still beating mother nature, because I'm mostly exercising INDOORS.
My goal is to lose 36 more pounds (and/or 3 dress sizes) by December 31, 2005. A
lofty goal, I know. But, I do have six months to do it. That gives me plenty of
time!

You will notice a new feature on this site that tracks how much I have lost. It
is on the lower portion of my sidebar, just below the top sites blog ranking. Go
ahead, stroke my ego, and click on it. Daily. Also! You are getting very sleepy.
Jes is wonderful. Very sleepy. Vote for her site. Very sleepy. Very, very,
slee...

So far, I have lost two pounds. Let's celebrate! Ice cream for everyone!
