Jes: "What did you just call me? A water buffalo?"
Roger (back peddaling): "I meant that you're like a water buffalo because you like to be in the water." (As opposed to a normal aquatic species, such as a FISH, or something.)
"I meant it as a term of endearment, Sweetie!"

The hilarious thing is that anyone who has been in the company of Jessica and Roger can play each of these incidents out in their head. I can hear the tone of voice, see the facial expressions, and giggle with humor at the exchange.

ROGER!!! I don't know many women that would take that as well as jes... jes is very forgiving, besides, she knows that she don't look like a water buffalo... I see her more as a happy bunny...

Thank you, EDDIE. I'm going to have to arrange a time for you and Roger to spend some time together so that you can teach him some of these terms. "Happy Bunny" is so much more palatable than "Water Buffalo!"
